Reference Card
- Willow bark = natural aspirin. Decoction (simmer 20 min). 1 cup every 4-6 hours for pain/fever.
- Yarrow stops bleeding: crush fresh leaves, press into wound. Also reduces fever as tea.
- Plantain (common lawn weed): chew leaf, apply to bites/stings/wounds. Draws out venom/infection.
- Garlic: crush and wait 10 minutes (allicin forms). Natural antibiotic. Apply to infections or eat raw.
- Elderberry MUST be cooked: raw berries contain cyanide compounds. Cooked syrup is powerful antiviral.
- Tincture ratio: 1 part dried herb to 5 parts alcohol (vodka). Steep 4-6 weeks. Lasts years.
- Turmeric + black pepper: pepper increases curcumin absorption by 2,000%. Always combine.
- NEVER use a plant you cannot identify with 100% certainty. Many deadly plants mimic medicinal ones.
